And it's October!
I'm happy to report that second eye surgery is complete. At this point, I am two weeks into healing. Eye looked awful because there was a nicked blood vessel, but I an seeing fine. So glad to have that behind me.
It's getting pretty cool here in New England. Days are ranging from 65-70, nights have dipped into the 40's. I don't mind - it's refreshing - except of course, what it forebodes.
My son is a remote learning student this semester. They structured it a lot more than the emergency plan in spring, so now he actually 'attends' class via Teams. He's a senior this year (old-time friends, remember when he was a toddler???) and we have to start talking about post-graduation plans. I believe it will be community college for 2 years, then transfer to a 4 year. He's talking about psychology. And if the toddler thing wasn't enough, y'all should know he is 6'1" now.
I'm having other health shit to deal with, now that we're done with eyes. I refused to do anything else until then. Today I scheduled an MRI and a GI doc appt. Already scheduled is a mammo next week, a virtual check-in with my psychiatrist, and the aforementioned MRI. *sigh*
I'm writing like crazy though :-) I am still restricted - no bending, no workout, no lifting. So I write and I take a walk every day. I've somehow managed to lose 5 lbs. and I'm busy on the next 5. I cant sew still, so mask-making has not resumed yet, probably the week of Halloween for that.
So the writing stuff was updated over on
firesign10. I need to redo and update my LJ masterlist too, but the AO3 one (same name) is up to date. Posting my spooky
spneldritchbang Friday!!
*hugs y'all*
