Yes, Roxy came to visit for a couple of days. In no particular order, we went out to breakfast at my fave little diner here, watched the most recent ep of SPN, watched ep 3 of Umbrella Academy, and two John MUlany comedy specials. We sat around outside all afternoon because the weather was great, and visited withblackrabbit42. Sadly, tifaching was otherwise committed. We also all talked with theatregirl7299 on the phone.
We talked about and worked on our big bangs. How fun to side side by side and work!! We thought about playing CAH, but ran out of time. I did, however, help her get her twitter account set up!
Ethan suggested we visit the two comic book stores in town, so we did, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Roxy made a cool Pop score, and Ethan found a Pop I've been yearning for. I can't actually have it yet, because we bought it for my birthday IN AUGUST. I did buy a Battlestar Galactica mystery figure, and it turned out to be Tamoh Penikett!! Here he was Helo from BSG, but of course he's Gadreel in SPN, and he's the action/love lead in Dollhouse.
So there's a quickie recap of the weekend. Spending a couple of days with Roxy was just wonderful, and we've agreed she will come again and stay a little longer this time!!
