Apr. 21st, 2020 08:14 pmHugh Casey died today. Some of my older LJ friends might remember him. Hugh was a sparkling character, abrim with wit and charm. It wasn't COVID-19, but another arrow in a succession of serious health issues over the last couple of years.
He wasn't my closest friend, nor I his. But every time I saw him, he was warm and welcoming, funny and sweet, even to my kids. He leaves many, many friends, and a woman who stood by everything, working tirelessly to help him get better, but now is alone.
The world is a little darker. Hug your dear ones as you can.
