notes about healing:

Ever get sunburned and then you peel, and it looks like you have mange? That's my arm right now. The top skin that is molting is actually darker than my normal skin underneath, like the shadow of the bruising is still there. I'm just looking forward to the surgical glue coming off, because the only reason I still have the incision scab is that it's trapped under the glue. Where it has already peeled, I have a thin pink line and that's it.

There is something fascinating about the healing process in all its grisly glory, isn't there!

Is the P.T. helping?

Can you wash it? Whenever I get casts off I moisturize, wash, and then moisturize again and it seems to do the trick.
