(no subject)

It's turning into fall here in New England. Getting those warm, brilliantly sunny days and cool nights that I love.

I love reading when you guys have chatty posts about what's happening, but when I go to write, I feel boring and clunky. :-P Ah well.

Sewing lots of masks again. Going to sell them this time, but not for a lot or anything. Defraying materials. I'll post pics or a link when it's up. I think about sewing other stuff but I haven't yet. I also think about beading again.

On firesign10, I've been posting a re-write of The Silver Dragon chapter by chapter on Tuesdays and Fridays. (Chapter 7 just went up, check over there). Currently am writing poking at another story that I'm looking to publish. While I have to build from the 10K original story, there's a lot of story in there to write, but I'm starting off really slowly. It's taking me a bit to find a groove at all. This is the part where I think, can't I just arrange a brain dump into the page??

There's a lot about self-publishing that is unknown and therefor scary too. All this talk of formatting and cover art etc etc. Eek!!! But people do it, so it must be manageable.

Mike just took a week off, and it was so nice. He works from home anyway, but there were no calls or meetings he had to go to. We did some projects around the house. He's in major harvest mode for the garden, and by garden I mean 36 kinds of hot peppers. He decided to get a dehydrator and he's dryng them to be able to store and use throughout the winter. He's making small batches of hot sauce too. Our carport is mostly enclosed and it's his outdoor kitchen, with hot plates, blender, etc etc because you can't make that shit inside the house without asphyxiating yourself lol

ANd now, it's breakfast time.
