A couple of questions for my medically inclined friends, if you'd be so kind.
1. Having stopped the percocet last week, and now only on Tylenol, I'm assuming it's typical to actually feel my pain level has increased a little bit. Not that the pain itself is more, but the medication is less. Am I correct in this assumption, and how long might it take for that to settle down a little bit? Also, I'm taking extra strength tylenol but someone recommended instead taking extended release tylenol. Your thoughts?
2. I just realized this evening that it's only been a month since my initial injury. And I'm only two and a half weeks out from surgery as well. I can't help but think I overestimated how quickly some of this might feel better. The surgery aside, I am also realizing that the dislocation itself and the subsequent strain and soft tissue damage is still a factor. Is this also correct ?]
thanks in advance :-)
