shoulder update
Today I saw the orthopedic surgeon. I'm 6 weeks out from surgery and 8 weeks from the actual injury.
X-rays show new bone growth. I am stiff but mobility was good for the point I'm at. I no longer have to wear the pillow part or waist strap on the sling. I still wear thee sling out, but do not have to wear it at home.
I'll be starting physical therapy right away :-D I might only go once a week depending on mike being able to take me, but then i'd work at home too. The focus this month is range of motion.
I go back right before Thanksgiving for a new set of x-rays and check on how i'm moving/doing. The PT focus after that will shift to strength training.
